AFSCME Council 62 Cities & Counties Committee Mission Statement
Our mission is to stop the parade that is the American labor movement that is marching to extinction. Our mission is not to argue about who is first or last in line in this parade; but to build our strength city-by-city, county-by-county, and town-by-town. The Cities & Counties Committee will give AFSCME Council 62 Locals the twenty-first century tools to do the job of building this union! These tools will be web based to enable distant cities and counties in Indiana and Kentucky to communicate and compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges in contracts, collective bargaining ordinances, grievances, and personal experiences.
